Sales Account Executive
Location: New York Metro Region
Position: Full time
Our company is seeking a self-motivated team player to join our team as a Sales Account Executive in the Metro NY region. In this position, you will be responsible for headquarter support at Wakefern/Shoprite, with specific accountability for an allotment of Wakefern groups within an assigned territory.
Specific Responsibilities Include:
- Direct headquarter sales for our existing client portfolio with an understanding of go-to-market strategies of target accounts.
- Collaborate with clients on opportunities to improve sales through new and existing business by utilizing data systems and analyzing current trends
- Keep clients informed and up to date on their business including ad activity, new item progress, and retail execution.
- Manage and maintain current projects and day-to-day activity of the account.
- Work in a team selling environment to grow total sales of regional accounts
Skills and Qualifications for Success:
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a focus on the timeliness of responses to customers and clients
- Detail Driven
- Ability to sell on certain objectives, once trained and integrated into the business.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office products, with emphasis on Excel, and the capability to learn new programs and customer portals.
- Strong relationship-building skills
- Experience with reading and analyzing syndicated data
This is a full-time 40-hour/week position with benefits including medical, dental, disability, and paid time off. This position allows for a hybrid work environment with normal office hours of 8 am-5 pm Monday through Friday.
